Description
For a final project, we were given the task of finding a common, household product or object that can be transformed and innovated into something more efficient. With the Professor Processor, you have your all-in-one food processor station to reduce the stress and hassle in the kitchen.
Overview
At the beginning of the project, I researched different objects that have progressed over the years, but still have not been innovated to their full potential, which is where I found many different kitchen products, especially with eating at home becoming more common nowadays.
With more research, I found that the food processor has been one of the most commonly used kitchen products, but some problems included having to find different ways to store your different parts or blades along with having to take up lots of space on the counter because of the extra kitchen products, such as the bowl to put the food in with.
As the 10 weeks ended, I learned how difficult it can be to combine many different objects into one to convey an innovative product and not just putting two products together without any context or cohesion. Also, it is important to pay attention to all details of the product and plan out every detail in order to produce the best work with the least amount of mistakes in the end.
